This album is again filled with minimal arrangements that encapsulate Sade Adu's fragile singing, and yet there is a strength that shines through her voice that we haven't seen from her for a while. The album is filled with love, hurt, and abandonment, but there is an anger and a defiance here that we haven't seen before.
