All Of Us - If I Had A Child Feat. Ville Parkkonen All Of Us - If I Had A Child Feat. Ville Parkkonen |
| It reads in the oldest book and it is common knowledge,
that the spirit of life is bound and found in the innocent new born child.
The homo sapiens is part of the evolution, is mend to raise children that raise children...,
but every second we kill children who were supposed to have children.
B-osa
I was born in this world, you were born in this world,
I found love in this world, to give love to the world.
Chorus:
If I had a child, I wouldn’t make it that easy for you.
If I already, had a child, I’d be a great danger to you.
If I had children already then, guess what I would do?
I’d be ready to do anything to protect them from you!
You will not play poker with their life or their soul!
I rather sing them Bob Dylan; let them live rock ‘n roll.
Guns No, rather alcohol!
Oh I’m so sick, (I’m so fed up) I’m so sick of your system.
I couldn’t say, is this the place for my children.
I have lived for some years, and I smiled for some years
and I cried for some years, I have been quiet for some years, but if;
Who can tell?
How many children were lost today,
fell for drugs or diseases and past away?
How many graves got names today, how many graves?
How many kids went hungry to bed,
how many souls were sold on the internet?
How many soldiers are children not 18 yet,
how many of them won’t get older than that?
How could I raise a child in a world
where no love songs, no laughing, only gunshots are heard.
Where the media works, like a church for evil words, preaching “Life hurts”
How, tell me, how I could sleep at night,
knowing in the next room lies my little child.
It lies there and cries, fear in his eyes,
it is scared in the dark and confused in the light.
Every decade there have been men and women who have had the strength to stand up, to announce or fight for changes.
Some of them were forced by their title, the political situation or the inequity surrounding them.
Many of them took enormous risks and burdens in order to be able to speak for others.
Some dedicated their whole life to the course we call humanity. Some of them were really successful,
and always there were people who got killed because of that course.
