"This got its name from my Marshall head that was up in Seattle. I got this sound at the beginning, it's the scratching of the strings. [Co-producer] Noel Golden asked me where I got that sound, and I said, "It's my Seattle head." So the name just stuck. Lyrically, the song's about the love/hate relationship I have with L.A." – Duff
