The series I have been posting on the sweep picking technique is coming along, and I will have another addition to it shortly. But I thought you all might enjoy this too. This is from the movie "Crossroads" and is the sequence that Eugene uses at the end of the film to defeat Stevie Vie. It's entitled "Eugenes trick bag" and if you give it some patient effort, you'll see that there are some really good arppegio ideas here, though Steve plays this with finger picking, I have adapted it for my sweep style in as many places as posible. are 1/8ths ritard for the 1/8ths... then 29 ...(which is not available on most necks) is played by fretting the string against the bridge position pick-up on a Tele.. type guitar...(I cant get it on my Ibanez Sabre) Well thats it....
