I just came back from hell where I suddenly ran into some friends They had built me a ladder that led me back on the right track They appeared out of blue and they walked me until I was safely home They saw me as I am. No questions, only helping hands On the other side I saw many fingers pointing at me There was a wall between us to give me some sort of a shelter I saw them as they were, eyes burning, full of pure hate They spoke no words to me and I saw them turn their backs on me Not my time to go It was my time to show This is me, stripped and weak This is me, unmasked and frail This is me, take it or leave it This is me, welcome and good bye The devil looked like me and his slaves called him by my name They had powders and needless and they had everything The devil said:"give me my medicine" and I saw them put a needle into his arm There was no fire, only blackness as far as it was possible to see It wasn't my first time there, I told myself I've seen this all before It only takes one step and you can kiss your ass good bye It wasn't meant to last, maybe it was meant to make me see I can see myself in the mirror again and recognize true friendship
